Chuck Shacochis is a photographer and filmmaker based in Baltimore, Maryland. His work has appeared in numerous publications, including The Baltimore Sun, The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Village Voice, Aperture, Entertainment Weekly, and the Baltimore and Washington DC City Papers.
His photography has been commissioned for advertising campaigns by W.B. Donor and the Downtown Partnership, and he has collaborated with David Carson Design. His photographs were also featured in John Waters’ film Pecker, for which Shacochis created the images made by the film’s title character. 
Shacochis has contributed to film projects with directors including John Waters and Mark Pellington, bringing his photographic approach to narrative and commercial productions.
 In addition to his editorial, commercial, and film work, Shacochis creates personal photographs that reflect his own interests, observations, and experiences. These images provide a more intimate look at the subjects and environments that continue to inspire his work.
